Hair Transplant
Stick and Place Technique:
- Preparation Phase: First of all, the hair in the area to be transplanted is cut short to facilitate the procedure. Local anesthesia is applied by choosing the appropriate anesthesia method for the patient.
- Graft Harvesting: With the FUE method, hair follicles (grafts) are taken from the patient’s nape or another area.
- Transplantation with Stick and Place Technique: The grafts are immediately transplanted in the area to be transplanted by making small holes with special fine-tipped needles. This process is repeated for each graft separately until the end of the operation.
Advantages of Stick and Place Technique:
- The residence time of the hair follicles in the external environment is reduced, which increases the chance of survival of the grafts.
- With this technique, the grafts are less traumatized as the hair follicles are immediately placed in the channel opened in the transplantation and this contributes to the result of the operation.
- The possibility of damaging the old hair in the area to be transplanted is eliminated.
- The angle and direction adjustment for each hair follicle to be transplanted is more controlled.
- Minimum trauma and maximum natural appearance are aimed.
